Puglia Cycle Tours
The bike-touring specialists
of Puglia - Italy
A bunch of friends with a hopeless passion for bikes: they always take every opportunity to cycle on the roads of Puglia and encourage the use of bicycles in their beloved region, which they know like the back of their hand! Combined with their long experience in the tourism industry this could only lead to one thing: planning cycling holidays (and hiking tours with the sister company Puglia Hiking Tours) to let people from all over the world discover the best Puglia has to offer: its landscapes, art and culture, welcoming accommodations and of course delicious food.
In the meantime, the Puglia Cycle Tours family has grown, and offers itself with the same passion and dedication as a dependable partner for your discovery of Puglia and Basilicata by bicycle, with high quality services, customisable itineraries and a modern fleet of quality bicycles.

Puglia Cycle Staff
GIUSEPPE, PEPE for the friends
Our reservation manager. He will take care of finding the right tour and adapting it to your needs and requests, choosing the best accommodation and checking that everything works out for the best. These have been his tasks ever since he started working as Technical Director of Tipica Tour Operator many years ago. Passionate about cycling, you could easily meet him on two wheels on the roads of Puglia and beyond.
Giovanni uses the map of our territory as a blackboard on which he knowingly draws lines. The result are the itineraries that we propose to you. By both profession and passion, he knows all the places and their history by heart, in Puglia, Basilicata and may other regions: with these ingredients, together with the stops and accommodations recommended by Pepe, he prepares all the programs for Puglia Cycle Tours. He is also a bike guide (in Italian and English) and it may happen that he accompanies you during your tours.
The commercial manager of the group, he participates in tourism fairs in Italy and abroad and promotes Puglia with all his heart! A lover of the country life and local history, Stefano is also a tour guide, but in a somewhat unusual way: his visits are made in the company of local donkeys, with which he leads guests to discover farms, local people and a lot of tasteful food typical of Puglia.
He will be your assistant and guardian angel, taking care of your luggage and giving you all the useful information concerning your bike tour. He has a strong passion for bikes, so much even that he chooses not to have a car. He also wrote a book about his cycling trip from Puglia all the way to Switzerland. He will put his long experience at your disposal as a tour guide and is more than happy to help you in English, German and Italian. All with kindness, professionalism and a positive spirit.
He is our bike mechanic, as well as a passionate cyclist. With great experience and professionalism, he takes care of our bike fleet through frequent maintenance to keep the reliability of our bikes at the highest level. For the rare mechanical problem that could occur, he intervenes promptly to rescue our guests, and accompanies them during our guided tours. He speaks perfect German, English and Spanish.
To go back or not to go back, that is the question. The answer was YES! After her experiences abroad and her studies in ‘Tourism management’ with a focus on Puglia food and wine, Alessandra returns to Puglia, aware of its tourism development. Her biggest desire is contributing to it. What she looks for and finally finds in PCT is a job, which satisfies tourist needs. For this, she takes care of the reservations. She speaks English and Spanish.
Better a Polish winter or a Mediterranean summer? A glass of pastis on the Vieux Port or a beer on the promenade of Bari? The majestic palaces of the Italian Risorgimento or the bell towers among the alleys of the old town? Without an answer, for the moment he decided to stop in his beloved Puglia, to continue to explore it in its stories, landscapes, and emotions.
